1.If you don't know how your dog does around other dogs or your dog has not been socialized, you will have to bring them in to be evaluated which takes 10-30 mins. Smaller dogs under 20#'s, may be able to skip the evaluation, but call to ask the details for that. We do not board aggresive dogs.
All dogs are grouped by their size & age, in large indoor play areas.
2.Shots/Vaccine, we will need a copy of a vaccine record showing your dog is current on Parvo/Distemper, Rabies, & Kennel cough. They must also be on some type of heartworm & flea protection.
3. It's $25 per night and each additinal dog is $15 per night. You need to bring their own food & we provide all of the bedding, bowls, & toys.

Shedding Dog? 2 Solutions to Help Combat Hair
One: The Shave Down, YES YOU CAN SHAVE DOWN LABS, PUGS, ENGLISH BULLDOGS etc... Customers are always nervous if they've never had their dog shaved. But they're always pleased when they see the end result. We don't have to scalp your dog, & take it all the way to the skin. We can blend the back of the head into the neck & the same w/the legs, it's nice & even, less noticable that your dog has been shaved.HOWEVER YOU MUST PROTECT THEIR SKIN FROM SUNBURN! There are many SPF products for dogs out there, & we sell sunscreen sprays as well. This is usually the best time to shave them. Shaving them now will give them time to grow out their coat some, because they do need their coat to keep them cool in the hot summer months.
Two: Furminator W/Spa Bath The Furminator Treatment It pulls a lot of the undercoat out of your dog & that's the hair that your dog is shedding this time of year. The Spa Bath deep cleans & we use special conditioners that help remove & untangle hair, along w/moisturizing their skin. When a dog's skin is dry they shed more than normal.

When you have to decide where to take your precious babies while you're away, there is no better place than Pet Paws. We NEVER LEAVE DOGS ALONE & THEY ARE NEVER CAGED! Unlike our competitors who generally only have 2 or 3 play areas, we have 7 very large indoor play roomsand 1 smaller play area. WE have NO CHAIN LINK WALLS OR FENCES. Our outside area where dogs potty is 2,000 sq ft & is all enclosed w/privacy fencing. Your pet's safety & happiness is our first prority. The Play areas always have fresh, clean, filtered water & there are always plenty of toys & bedding. We seperate dogs by not just by their size, but also by age & personality. Some dogs may be nervous around other really hyper & playfull dogs so we seperate them into a different group so they are more comfortable. Older, Senior dogs are sometimes seperated as well, if they have arthritis, hip displasia, etc..., because they need to be comfortable too & they may not like getting bumped into by a young active dog. We NEVER PUT LITTLE DOGS WITH BIG DOGS(unless they all belong to the same owner & you've requested a private room). There is always classical music playing & animal related shows on the televisions. We have a very open facility too, it is not behind closed doors.

1st Shot Records: Parvo(DHLP) Bordetella(Kennel Cough) & Rabies.
Your vet can fax the shot records to us. The fax# 417-886-6616
or we can call your vet for you.
2nd We may need to do an evaluation w/your dog to make sure he/she gets along well w/the other dogs. Safety & happiness is our #1 priority.However if it's Not a Holiday, we can sometimes skip the evaluation, since we have 7 play areas. If there's a problem & your dog or dog's can't be around other dogs due to fear or aggression, your
dog's could have their have own private room.
3rd There is a form you must fill out when you arrive or you can pre-print it off our website(ABOUT US PAGE)& bring it with you.
4thBring your own food, so your pet doesn't get sick from diet change.

Pet Paws is located at 5739 S. Campbell in Springfield, MO. We are located just 1/3 of a mile South of Plainview Road on the West side of S. Campbell. We are across the street from a Sonic & a large Church. We are in between Anchor Fence, & Edge Plumbing Supply, in a shopping center with Challengers Bar & Grill Formally (Roadhouse Live) Spectrum Paint, & Dance Trance. Our facility features 7 indoor play areas for Daycare & Overnight Boarding. We also have 2,000 sq. ft. outside area that is enclosed with privacy fence so the dogs have plenty of room to do their business. We take each group out about every 30 minutes to go potty outside. Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and age. Your dogs safety & happiness is our #1 priority. There is always staff at the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We never leave pets alone. We have a full service, professional grooming salon, & we sell pet supplies at amazingly low, low prices. Come in & see what you & your dog have been missing.
